Something I've always wondered? When you look at the side of the box for what the results will be, it shows you the results on blonde, brown, black, but never red. Why is this?
Why don't home hair color kits show the results on red hair on the side of the box?
perhaps because some redheads are more brownish and others are more orangeish....and I would guess that the differences in red hair would have an effect on the outcome of the dye.....
I know as a guy that has brown hair, with a slight hint or red, that the store bought dyes,,well I dis not get the results advertised on the box...and no Im not gay..the wife wanted to dye my hair so I let her...she just had to dye it back close to my natural color before I went back to work (military)

Redheads are mean and crabby. They don't want to scare away customers.

Good question! My guess would be that there are not as many red heads out there, but they should still put it on the box!
I am sure that they could go with the brown hues though, because it is usually pretty close to the results. I think they are just showing varying degrees of dark hair.

There are too few redheads to start with and red is such a nice color that many probably don't seek to change colors.
