Red dots around hair follicles on legs?

I have these little red dots on my legs, they're especially visible after i shave. I thought they were the hair follicles showing, but yesterday i tried to wax my legs and they still show :[

So I don't know if they're hair follicles.. I know they arn't ingrown hairs (they're NOT bumps, just flat red dots around the hair follicle or pore or whatever, they don't hurt, they are just there). I don't know what to do!! What is it and what can I do about it??

i get those too, and i just make sure never ever to shave without shaving gel so it won't make it worse, and rub vasline on them after i get out and they usually go away

Your skin (unless you lotion) is probably dried out from the winter weather. Use some lotion (some with Aloe) and the spots should be gone within a couple days or so. Best wishes on clearing them up!

i find this shows a lot more to girls who have fair skin, tanning will make them less visible.

chances are the hair you removing is medium to thick, when removed, it leaves a little redness around the pore.

I have them too! and i am sorry to say nothing as of yet worked for me in getting rid of them. Just try using loads of lotion, atleast youl have soft legs. Good luck and let me know if anything works.

Though, ive heard that waxing over time reduces the appearence of red dots. so keep waxing?

Also, maybe chemical peels could help, but i am too scared to try :(

But things that should help are, using shaving cream, sharp razor and try rubbing baby oil on your legs before and right after a shower. They make your legs appear slightly sexyer.

probably razor burn......i get those. a good way to revent it is to soak ur legs in warm water first, then ur leg hair will b softer and easierto shave.......and use shaving cream too, always helps me. hope i helped!!!!

your skins just really dry dont worry when summer comes around theyll go away i dont know why but it happens to me too in the winter
