I had light blonde hair which was done at the salon. I wanted to go back to a darker brown and figured I'd do it in steps. First I dyed it an ash blonde and it turned out more gray than blonde. So after I was done with that color and rinsed I added a dark brown color. It has turned out dark but in areas it seems the ash blonde didn't take to the color as well. I was wondering IF re-applying the dark brown will fix this and give me a deeper color and more even?
Thanks!
If you re-apply brown hair dye will it show up darker?
More than likely yes it will make it more even and richer but not necessarily darker because no matter how many times you apply a dye it isn't going to turn out darker than the color you put on it. Dying your hair too much can cause it to look dry and dull so I also recommend using a hair glaze once you are done.
